To an untrained eye, or someone new to reading or visualizing auras, the human energy usually seems like a faint outline within a few inches of the body. However, the energy is of two types, one that can be measured and subtle, that cannot be measured. The human body produces and is affected by both types of energies.

 

Some examples of visible or measurable energy are light, magnetism, radiation or electro-magnetic energy. The subtle energy cannot be measured (at least with the present day instruments) but a perceptive healer can feel or intuitively see the fields created by the subtle energy as layers, including their colors.

 

The energy field consists of the layers of the aura. Each of these layers also works with the chakras positioned along the spine and their etheric body.
